2. The Different Roles Within Storedropz

Storedropz is a software platform.

Our customers ("Store Owners") use Storedropz to operate their own online businesses.

Customers purchasing products from those Store Owners ("End Customers") interact primarily with the Store Owner's storefront.

Because of this relationship:

  • Storedropz generally acts as the technology provider.
  • The Store Owner controls the products, pricing, customer communications, fulfillment, and overall operation of their business.
  • End Customers should direct questions regarding products, shipping, returns, exchanges, warranties, or other order-related matters to the Store Owner whenever appropriate.

When Store Owners use Storedropz to process customer information, they remain responsible for complying with applicable privacy and consumer protection laws governing their own businesses.

3. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Storedropz.

In general, we collect the following categories of information.

3.1 Account Information

When you create an account or begin the onboarding process, we may collect information including:

  • phone number or WhatsApp number;
  • company or store name;

  • preferred currency;
  • desired storefront subdomain;

Depending on how a Store Owner configures their storefront, this information may include:

  • order history;
  • products viewed or purchased;
  • shopping cart information;
  • communications relating to orders;

  • other information voluntarily submitted by End Customers.

In these situations, Storedropz generally processes this information on behalf of the Store Owner.

The Store Owner is responsible for determining the legal basis for collecting and processing customer information through their storefront.

3.4 Payment Information

Payments made through Storedropz storefronts are processed by independent third-party payment providers.

Depending on the Store Owner's configuration, these providers may include:

  • Stripe;
  • PayPal;
  • Venmo; and
  • other supported payment providers.

Storedropz does not store complete payment card numbers or security codes.

Payment information is processed directly by the applicable payment provider in accordance with its own privacy practices and security standards.

Storedropz may receive limited payment-related information, such as:

  • payment status;
  • transaction identifiers;
  • payment method;
  • subscription status;
  • billing history; and
  • similar information necessary to operate the Services.

3.5 Usage Information

Storedropz provides software tools only and does not determine how individual Store Owners conduct their businesses.
